A perspective shaped by interiors, real estate, renovation and residential development.

Home has always felt deeply personal to me.

I founded Ecru & Stone from the belief that exceptional residential design asks us to understand more than what happens inside four walls. A home is architecture and light, movement and material—but it is also memory, ritual and the quiet backdrop to a life.

My perspective has been shaped at the intersection of interior design, real estate, renovation and residential development. That wider lens taught me to look beyond a beautiful room and consider the complete residence: how it functions, how it relates to its setting, what deserves to be preserved, and what the home has the potential to become.

I begin every project by observing. Where does the morning light enter? How will people move through the house? Where will everyone gather? What should recede, and what deserves to become the moment? The answers create a design that feels natural to the architecture and unmistakably personal to the people who live there.

I am drawn to honest materials, thoughtful proportions and spaces that reveal themselves slowly. I believe luxury can be quiet. Modernity can be warm. And the most enduring homes are not designed around a formula, but around the lives unfolding within them.

That is the intention behind Ecru & Stone: to create residences that feel considered in every detail, restorative in everyday life and more personal with time.

Warmly,
Brie
